Bypass valve (Nissan Almera N15)

Press the valve ball to make sure there is no jamming. If there are any defects, remove the valve by prying it with a suitable tool and press in a new one.





In the SR engine produced before 04.96, the bypass valve is built into the oil filter.

Old and new oil filters have different designs and are not interchangeable.
