SR Engine
In SR engines, an oil cooler has been installed since 04.96.
Before removing the cooler, drain the oil and coolant.
Check the cooler housing for cracks. Make sure it is properly patinated by blowing air through the coolant supply pipe. Replace the cooler assembly if necessary.
CD Engine
Check the cooling element and housing for cracks. Make sure the cooler is properly circulated by blowing air through the coolant supply pipe.
Replace the cooler assembly if necessary.
