Clutch Hydraulic Drive — Removal (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. Bleeding the system will be required every time after disassembling and assembling the clutch hydraulic drive.

2. Fill the reservoir with fresh brake fluid (use of waste liquid is prohibited).

3. First of all, it is necessary to remove air from the damper cylinder.

4. Place a hose on the cylinder nipple and release it into a container filled with brake fluid to a depth of 3-5 cm.

5. Loosen the bleed nipple by 1/2 turn and ask an assistant to press the clutch pedal all the way. Tighten the nipple, ask the assistant to slowly release the pedal. Repeat the procedure until air bubbles stop coming out of the hose.

6. After pressing the pedal two or three times, check the fluid level. Constantly monitor the level, the tank should be completely filled with fluid.

7. With the pedal depressed, tighten the nipple (don't tighten too much), remove the hose, restore the fluid level in the reservoir. Perform the same operations for the clutch master cylinder.
