1. Jack up the front of the car and place it on jack stands.
2. Make sure the master cylinder reservoir is filled with clean hydraulic fluid.
3. Connect a piece of transparent hose to the clutch slave cylinder bleed valve. Lower the other end of the hose into a transparent container partially filled with clean hydraulic fluid.
4. Depress the clutch pedal and open the bleed valve. Close the valve and slowly release the pedal.
5. Repeat the procedure in the previous paragraph until clean, air-bubble-free hydraulic fluid comes out of the cylinder.
6. Remove the hose, lower the vehicle to the ground and test drive it to check that the clutch is working properly.
