1. Remove the blown fuse and disconnect the entire fuse load.
2. Connect a test lamp to the fuse socket.
3. Provide conditions for the control lamp to light up.
Example:
- (A) - the ignition switch is on.
- (B) - the ignition lock and switch SW 1 are on.
- (C) - ignition lock, switch SW 1 and relay are on (connect relay), and switch SW 2 is off (or disconnected).
4. Disconnect and reconnect the connectors while observing the test lamp. The short is between the connector where the test lamp stays on and the connector where the lamp goes out.
5. Determine the exact position of the short by gently shaking the damaged wire along the body.
Attention.
- Do not open the cover or housing of the electronic control unit unless absolutely necessary (If you touch the integrated circuit terminals, the system may be damaged by static electricity).
- When replacing internal components (Parts of the electronic control unit) digital equipment, be careful not to touch body parts or clothing with the integrated circuit terminals of the part to be replaced (spare parts).
