Cars with gasoline engines
Warning: Do not use leaded gasoline. Use of leaded gasoline will cause the three-way neutralizer to fail.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 95 (by research method).
Diesel engines
Use EN590 diesel fuel with a cetane number of at least 51.
Note.
Only low sulphur diesel fuel may be used.
If there are two types of diesel fuel, use winter or summer diesel depending on temperature conditions:
- at temperatures above -7°C - summer grade diesel fuel;
- at temperatures below -7°C - winter grade diesel fuel.
If in any doubt, contact your authorized Nissan dealer.
Attention.
- Do not use tatt oils, gasoline or other types of fuel in a diesel engine, as this will cause engine failure.
- Do not add gasoline or other fuels to diesel fuel.
- It is prohibited to fill the car with summer grade diesel fuel if the ambient temperature is below -7°C. When cooling, paraffin crystals intensively precipitate in summer grade diesel fuel. As a result, the engine starts to run intermittently or stalls.
