Attention.
- Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Hot coolant escaping under high pressure from the radiator can cause severe burns.
- Wrap the lid with thick cloth. First, turn the plug a quarter of a turn to relieve pressure in the system. Carefully remove the cover, unscrewing it completely.
Versions with petrol engines
1. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
Attention.
- This step is performed on a cold engine.
- Do not allow coolant to come into contact with the attachment drive belt.
2. Remove the intake duct.
3. Disconnect the expansion tank hose from the upper radiator hose side.
4. Disconnect the connector from the resistor and fan motor and put the wires aside.
5. Remove the cooling fan assembly.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the radiator core.
6. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
7. To turn away bolts of fastening of an arm of a tank.
8. Remove the top mounting bracket.
9. Lift up the A/C condenser to disconnect it from the radiator and then remove the radiator.
Attention. Be careful not to damage or scratch the radiator and air conditioning condenser core.
Version with diesel engine K9K
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the air filter housing with the intake duct.
3. Remove the expansion tank hose bracket bolt from the upper radiator mounting bracket (on the right side).
4. Remove the radiator fan motor wiring.
5. Remove the motor protective tray.
6. Drain the coolant from the engine.
Attention. Drain the coolant only after the engine has cooled down.
7. Disconnect the upper radiator hose, expansion tank hose and mounting bracket.
8. Disconnect the charge air cooler from the radiator.
9. Remove the heatsink with fan assembly.
Note. Remove the radiator with condenser assembly.
Attention. Be careful not to damage or scratch the radiator core when removing.
M9R diesel version
1. Remove the engine protection tray.
2. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
Attention. Drain the coolant only after the engine has cooled down.
3. Remove the intake duct.
4. Remove the front grille and air intake.
5. Remove the air inlet hose, inlet pipe and bracket.
6. Remove the screws securing the expansion tank pipe on the right side of the radiator.
7. Remove the mounting bracket and top spring.
8. Disconnect the wire connector from the resistor and fan motor and put the wires aside.
9. Disconnect the upper radiator hose.
10. Remove the radiator fan assembly.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the heatsink core when removing.
11. Disconnect the top hose of the expansion tank from the radiator.
12. Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
13. Remove the radiator.
Attention. Be careful not to damage or scratch the radiator core when removing.
