- Prevent coolant from coming into contact with drive belts.
2. Turn the front wheels of the car to the right.
3. Remove the front right fender liner.
4. Before loosening the drive belt tension, loosen the water pump pulley mounting bolts.
5. Remove the drive belt.
6. Remove the water pump pulley.
7. Loosen the water pump mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure and remove the water pump.
Note: When removing the water pump, coolant may leak from the cylinder block, so it is necessary to first place a container to collect it.
Attention.
- When handling the water pump, do not allow the blades to come into contact with any other parts.
- The water pump cannot be disassembled and must be replaced as a single unit if necessary.
