Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Partially remove the right fender liner.
3. Remove the high pressure fuel line protection.
4. Remove the drive belt.
5. Disconnect the generator connector.
6. Unscrew the nut of terminal "B" and disconnect the wire from the terminal.
7. Loosen the upper generator mounting bolt.
8. Loosen the lower generator mounting bolt and move it to the side.
9. Remove the generator with the lower mounting bolt.
Note: Pull the alternator forward from the top. Rotate and then pull the lower side of the alternator with the lower mounting bolt.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: Make sure that the terminal nut "B" is securely tightened.
Install the generator and check the drive belt tension.
