Raise the vehicle and check the following.
Check for looseness at all component mounting points for excessive play and damage.
Check the play in the lower ball joints.
(1) Fasten the indicator so that its sensitive tip touches the brake caliper.
(2) Set the front wheels to a straight ahead position. Do not press the brake pedal.
(3) Measure the end play. To do this, insert an iron crowbar or similar tool between the transverse arm and the steering knuckle, and move it.
Attention:
Do not damage the ball joint boot.
Axial play: 0 mm
(4) If the end play is not correct, remove the transverse arm and check the lower ball joint.
