Raise the vehicle and check the following.
Check that all components are securely fastened and that there is no excessive play or damage.
Check the play in the lower ball joints.
(1) Attach the indicator so that its sensitive tip touches the brake caliper.
(2) Set the front wheels straight ahead. Do not press the brake pedal.
(3) Measure the end play by inserting a crowbar or similar tool between the wishbone and the steering knuckle and moving it.
Attention:
Do not damage the ball joint boot.
Axial play: 0 mm
(4) If the axial play is not within the standard, remove the control arm and check the lower ball joint.
