Check of operability of control lamps
After turning the ignition key to the ON position, the check of the serviceability of the control lamps begins, which light up or go out, as indicated in the table:
If any lamp lights up or goes out not in accordance with the table, contact the service station.
1. Low oil pressure warning light
This lamp lights up with the engine running if the engine oil pressure drops.
Caution: If this lamp comes on, immediately park in a safe place, stop the engine and contact a service station.
Note: The control lamp does not inform about the oil level in the engine.
2. Engine malfunction warning lamp
This lamp lights up during engine operation in the event of a malfunction in the electronic engine control system (the lamp is on continuously on petrol models, and flashes on diesel models).
* Fuel filter water level warning light (diesel engine models)
This lamp comes on when the engine is running if water accumulates in the fuel filter.
3. Battery discharge warning lamp
This lamp comes on with the engine running if there is a malfunction in the battery charging system.
4. Brake warning light
This lamp comes on after turning the ignition key to the ON position in the following cases:
- When placing the car on the parking brake.
- Insufficient brake fluid level.
Note:
Be sure to release the parking brake before driving.
If the control lamp continues to burn, drive away the car in a safe place and address on HUNDRED. If braking performance is reduced, depress the brake pedal with more force and stop the vehicle.
5. Low fuel warning light
This lamp comes on to inform the driver of a low (approx. 12 l) fuel level in the tank (ignition key in the ON position).

Attention: If the lamp does not light up after turning the ignition key to the ON position or lights up after starting the engine or while driving, have it diagnosed at a service station.
Note:
If the warning light is on, the ABS system is not working, but the brake system continues to work as normal without ABS. In this case, when braking hard or when braking on a slippery road, the wheels may lock up.
It may happen that when starting the engine with a sharp turn of the ignition key, the control lamp lights up and does not go out. In this case, turn off the engine, then start it again by gently turning the key.
9. Airbag warning light
After turning the ignition key to the ON position, the lamp comes on for approx. for 7 seconds and then turns off.
