Connecting rod side clearance — check (Nissan Serena C24)

Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the connecting rod and the crank arm.

• Standard: 0.200-0.350 mm
• Limit: 0.4 mm

If the measured clearance is greater than the standard, replace the connecting rod and re-measure the clearance. If the clearance value exceeds the limit value upon re-measurement, replace the crankshaft.
