Removal
1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Remove the pump drive belt.
3. Loosen the high pressure ring fitting bolt and disconnect the hose from the pump.
4. Drain the liquid.
5. Disconnect the return line fitting.
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the tensioner bracket.
7. Rotate the pump pulley until one of the holes in the pulley aligns with the tie bolt.
8. Loosen the tie bolt nut and remove the washers.
9. Remove the tie bolt holding the pump and remove the pump.
10. On some vehicles, you will need to unscrew the bracket bolts and remove the pump by lowering it down.
Installation
1. The pump is installed in the reverse order.
2. Replace high pressure nipple gaskets, adjust belt tension.
