Solenoid valve for increasing the engine speed in idle mode
Solenoid valve – indicated by arrow.
The fast idle solenoid valve is mounted on the front side of the throttle body.
Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery cable.
If necessary, remove the air filter following the instructions provided in subsection 6.3.2.2, to improve access to the valve.
Removal
1. Disconnect the connection connector from the solenoid valve.
2. Unscrew the solenoid valve from the throttle body, remove the plunger, spring and sealing washer.
Installation
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. When installing, use a new sealing washer. Check that the plunger and spring are correctly installed.
