Removal

1. Throttle potentiometer (indicated by the arrow) is installed on the right side of the throttle body. Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the throttle potentiometer connection connector.
3. Using white paint or a marker, make marks on the throttle body and potentiometer.
4. Remove the two mounting screws and remove the potentiometer.
Installation
5. When installing, install the potentiometer on the throttle body so that its lever is correctly positioned on the throttle shaft lever.
6. Install the mounting plate, then align the marks made before removal and tighten the mounting screws slightly. Adjust the potentiometer as follows.
7. Using a tester set to measure resistance, check that the resistance of the potentiometer is as specified in the specifications section (see subsection 6.3.2.1). If necessary, loosen the mounting screws and turn the potentiometer until its resistance is as specified in the specifications section.

8. Once the potentiometer is properly installed, tighten the mounting screws securely and connect the connection connector.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
