From 04.96 on cars with GA engines instead of MITSUBISHI A5T06891 and HITACHI LRI70-7461 generators; the A5T06891A generator is installed, the output current of which at 2500 min⁻¹ is increased to 55 A. In other respects, this generator is identical to the A5T06891.
On cars with CD20E engine since 04.96, instead of HITACHI LR170-504B generator, LR180-749 generator is installed, which has a higher output current (at least 31 A at 1300 min⁻¹, 67 A at 2500 min⁻¹ and 76 A at 5000 min⁻¹). The minimum diameter of slip rings for this generator is 26.0 mm, the minimum length of brushes is 6.0 mm, there is no data on the rotor winding resistance.
