2. Set the lever to position N.
3. Loosen the switch mounting bolts.
4. Insert the 4mm diameter rod and the adjustment hole of the lever. Turn the lever so that the rod can be inserted into the hole of the switch.
5. Tighten the switch mounting bolts and remove the rod from the adjustment hole.
6. Install all removed parts.
7. Adjust the transmission control cable (see previous section).
8. Check the operation of the switch (see section "Checking electrical components").
