2. Press the locking plate and move the adjustment tube in the T direction (to the gearbox).
3. Release the locking plate. The adjustment tube will be fixed in the set position.
4. While pressing the locking plate, quickly turn the throttle control sector from position P ₂ to position P ₁. The adjustment tube will move in the U direction (to the engine). The cable stroke L should be 40-42 mm. To make the measurement easier, make a mark on the cable.
Adjustment of the cable stroke should be performed only after installation and adjustment of the throttle cable.
The throttle cable should be connected to the sector only by hand, without using any tools.
5. After adjustment, secure the cable with clamps. The cable should be as straight as possible.

If the cable stroke is not adjusted correctly, the following problems may occur.
- If the position of P ₁ is shifted too much in the direction of T, the shifting will be carried out along the curve (2). In this case, the range of the "kickdown" mode will be greatly expanded.
- If the P ₁ position is shifted in the U direction, switching will be carried out along the curve (1) and it will be impossible to engage the "kickdown" mode.
