Removal
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
2. Remove the air duct.
3. Disconnect the clutch cable or remove the clutch slave cylinder with the support bracket.
4. Disconnect the wires of the reverse light switch, neutral sensor and speed sensor, as well as the ground wire.

5. Remove the starter.
6. Disconnect the control rod and torque rod from the gearbox.
7. Drain the oil from the gearbox housing.
8. Remove the drive shafts (see chapter "Front suspension").
9. Raise the gearbox together with the engine and insert a wooden block between the center beam and the engine oil pan.
WARNING: Do not place a jack under the oil pan drain plug.
10. Remove the rear and left supports, holding the gearbox with a jack.
11. Unscrew the bolts securing the gearbox.
12. Lower the gearbox down and remove it from under the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order. When tightening the gearbox mounting bolts, observe the specified torques.
