Attention! If the stereo system installed in the car is equipped with a security code, before disconnecting the battery, make sure that you have the correct combination to activate the audio system!
2. Support the rear wheels of the car with wheel chocks, cock the parking brake.
3. Loosen the right front wheel nuts. Jack up the front of the car and place it on jack stands, remove the right front wheel.
4. Remove the crankcase protection and the right front wheel arch protection locker.
5. Remove drive belts (see chapter Settings and ongoing maintenance).
6. Remove the crankshaft position sensor from the front timing cover (see chapter Engine management systems).
7. After blocking the crankshaft from turning with a chain or strap wrench, release the central bolt of its fastening.
8. Prying the pulley on both sides with screwdrivers or a large pry bar, carefully remove it from the shaft pin. If necessary, use a 3-grip puller.
Attention! Bring the puller grips only under the hub part of the pulley!
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Before landing the pulley on the shaft trunnion, make sure that the key is correctly aligned with the reciprocal groove. Tighten the fixing bolt to the required torque.
