Removing
1. Remove auxiliary drive belts.
2. If necessary, set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke.
3. To prevent the crankshaft from turning when the pulley bolt is loosened, turn on the highest gear and ask the assistant to depress the brake pedal to failure. If the bolt loosens on the removed engine, then fix the flywheel with a tool (see subsection 3.1.1.15).
4. Loosen the bolt and remove the pulley from the crankshaft. If the pulley key has a loose fit, remove the key and store with the pulley.
Installation
1. Install key (if filmed).
2. Align the groove of the pulley with the key, put the pulley on the crankshaft and tighten the bolt with the washer.
3. Secure the crankshaft from turning and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
4. Put on the straps and adjust the tension.
