2. Turn out candles.
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke.
4. Mark the chain and camshaft sprocket. If the head is not removed, then the violation of the relative position of these parts is not allowed.
5. Prepare a wooden wedge with dimensions of 250x19 mm and a width of 30-37 mm on one side and 25 mm on the other.
6. Remove the plug and unscrew the sprocket bolt, remove the fuel pump drive cam (photo).
7. Open the chain by inserting the wedge with the tapered side down. Chain coming off the crankshaft gear. not allowed.
8. Carefully remove the sprocket while holding the chain, which should remain on the wedge (photo).
9. Remove the rocker rollers.
10. Remove the camshaft, paying attention to the orientation of the pin on the end.
11. Check the condition of the camshaft (see below).
12. Install the camshaft without disturbing the original pin orientation. Pre-lubricate bearings and shaft journals (photo).
13. Install the rocker rollers. Tighten the bolts by hand. Tighten the two middle bolts with a torque of 17 Nm.
14. Put the chain on the sprocket, carefully removing it from the wedge and put the sprocket on the camshaft. The pin should go into the second recess of the sprocket, and the marks made before disassembly should line up.
15. Remove the wedge and tighten the bolt, install the fuel pump drive cam. Tighten the bolt to the specified torque. Lubricate the plug with sealant and install in the cylinder head.
16. Tighten the rocker shaft bolts to the specified torque.
17. Adjust valves.
18. Install the cover.
19. Warm up the engine and again adjust the gaps, taking into account the norms for a warm engine.
