2. Remove spark plugs (one per cylinder).
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke. Change springs and caps in the order of engine operation (1-3-4-2).
4. Fix the valve by applying compressed air or a soft flexible rod (photo). If compressed air comes out of the cylinder, the head must be removed and repaired.

9.5...and crackers
5. Compress the spring and remove the crackers (photo).
6. Remove poppet, spring and cap.
7. Wrap the valve stem with tape and remove the rod.
8. Check the condition of the valve stem. Check the stem bend by turning the valve.
9. Check up freedom of movement of the valve in the plug. If the valve sticks, the cylinder head must be removed and repaired.
10. Lock the valve again.
11. Lubricate the valve stem and fit the cap.
12. Install the springs with a tight winding towards the cylinder head, install the plates.
13. Compress the spring and install crackers.
14. Remove the bar from the cylinder.
15. Repeat for the rest of the valves.
16. Next, the assembly is performed in the reverse order.
