2. Remove the spark plugs (one per cylinder).
3. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke. Replace the springs and caps in the order of engine operation (1-3-4-2).
4. Fix the valve by applying compressed air or using a soft flexible rod (photo). If compressed air comes out of the cylinder, the head should be removed and repaired.

9.5...and crackers
5. Compress the spring and remove the crackers (photo).
6. Remove the plate, spring and cap.
7. Wrap the valve stem with tape and remove the rod.
8. Check the condition of the valve stem. Check the bending of the stem by turning the valve.
9. Check the freedom of movement of the valve in the sleeve. If the valve is stuck, the cylinder head should be removed and repaired.
10. Secure the valve again.
11. Lubricate the valve stem and replace the cap.
12. Install the springs with a tight winding towards the cylinder head, install the plates.
13. Compress the spring and install the crackers.
14. Remove the rod from the cylinder.
15. Repeat the operations for the remaining valves.
16. Then assembly is carried out in reverse order.
