Removing
1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it on jack stands.
2. Disconnect the drive spring from the valve (the location of the valve - pressure regulator is shown in the accompanying illustration).
3. Disconnect the brake pipes from the valve. Seal the open ends of the pipes to prevent excessive fluid loss and to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
4. Give fixing bolts and remove the valve from the car.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
1. Tighten the fixing bolts to the required torque.
2. Bleed the brake system.
3. Carry out road tests of the car, checking the correct functioning of the valve - pressure regulator. If the rear wheels lock up constantly when braking, take the valve to a factory dealer shop to have the drive spring adjusted.
Attention! Never try to disassemble the valve!
