Components of the rear anti-roll bar disengagement drive
1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it on jack stands under the axle housing. Move the anti-roll bar release control to position "Included".
2. Give a nut of a spherical hinge of the right rack of the stabilizer of cross stability and disconnect a rack from a bar.
3. Disunite an electric socket of a control lamp.
4. Disconnect the front drive cable from the rear drive cable at the adjuster. Using pliers, remove the cable lock plate on the adjustment bracket.
5. Loosen the cable tie bolts and loosen the assembly mounting bolts. Remove the anti-roll bar disengagement assembly from under the vehicle.
6. If necessary, you can remove the front drive cable with the control handle, for which:
- Give coupling bolts of fastening of a cable to the car chassis.
- Give nuts of fastening of the handle of management to a bulkhead.
- Turn out a bolt of fastening of the handle to the panel of devices, remove the handle with a cable from the car.
7. Check the anti-roll bar disconnect assembly for signs of damage. Pull the drive cable of the assembly with your hand, checking the proper disengagement of the stabilizer link. When the cable is released, the rack should be firmly locked into the assembly. Replace if necessary.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
1. Adjust the length of the cable, achieving a free play of 0.2÷0.7 mm.
2. Make sure of reliability of fastening of a socket of a control lamp.
