Utility and Mini-truck models (Cab Chassis).
Removal
1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on stands. Mark the position of the steering damper support point on the vehicle chassis (see accompanying illustration for the location of the steering damper on Utility (Van) and Mini-Truck models).

2. Loosen the nuts securing the steering damper to the chassis and the tie rod.
3. Remove the steering damper from the vehicle, being careful not to damage the rubber bushings.
4. Grasp the steering damper at both ends and compress it fully several times, then stretch it until it stops. If the damper jerks or sticks during operation, it should be replaced.

5. Inspect the damper from the outside for signs of fluid leaks, dents, and other damage. Replace if necessary.
6. Assess the condition of the rubber bushings and replace them if necessary.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
1. Make sure that the damper support points that were marked during dismantling are aligned.
2. Tighten the mounting nuts securely.
