Brake pedal height adjustment
1. Disconnect the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor wire connector.
2. Turn the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor 45°counterclockwise.
3. Loosen locknut (1) input rod.
4. Rotate the input rod to adjust the brake pedal height to specification, then re-tighten the locknut.
Attention. Threaded part of the input rod (2) should act (L) inside earring (3).
Adjusting the Position of the Stop Light Switch or the Brake Pedal Position Sensor
1. Remove the lower trim of the dashboard.
2. Disconnect the wire connector from the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor.
3. Turn the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor 45°counterclockwise.
4. Press switch/sensor (2) until it touches the bracket (1), then rotate 45°clockwise.
Attention.
- Gap (WITH) between the bracket and the threaded portion of the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor must be correct.
- When the brake pedal is released, the brake lights should be off.
Adjusting the play of the brake pedal
1. Disconnect the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor wire connector.
2. Turn the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor 45°counterclockwise.
3. Press the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor (2) so that it touches the bracket (1) and rotate 45°clockwise.
Attention.
- Gap (WITH) between the bracket and the threaded portion of the brake light switch or brake pedal position sensor must be correct.
- When the brake pedal is released, the brake lights should be off.
