Use only DOT 3 brake fluid.
Drained brake fluid must not be reused.
Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with painted surfaces. If this does happen, remove the brake fluid immediately and flush the area with plenty of water.
Use fresh brake fluid to clean all parts of the main brake cylinder, disc brake caliper. Never use liquids such as diesel fuel, petrol or kerosene. They destroy the rubber parts of the brake system.
When installing brake lines, use a torque wrench (A) with slit head.
When installing the pipelines of the brake system, tighten the threaded connections, strictly maintaining the set tightening torque.
- Before starting work, turn the ignition key to the OFF position and disconnect the connectors of the electrical equipment actuator unit (control block) ABS or disconnect the battery terminal.
- Check for brake fluid leaks after replacing brake parts.
- Lapping the working surfaces of the brakes after processing or replacing the brake discs, after replacing the pads or gaskets, and also when "soft pedal" at low mileage.
