Opening the hood
1. Pull the hood release handle (1) located at the bottom left of the control panel towards you. This will raise the front edge of the hood slightly.
2. Use your fingers to push the safety catch lever (2), which is located under the front edge of the hood, to the side and lift the hood.
3. Insert the end of the support post (3) into the socket on the inside of the hood.
4. Before closing the hood, put the support stand back in place. Then slowly close the hood and make sure it is securely latched.
Attention. To avoid opening the hood while the vehicle is moving, always check that the hood lock is securely locked. Do not drive the vehicle with the hood open.
