Removal
Preparatory work
Remove the front door trim.
Remove the protective screen.
Note: If you reuse the screen, do not cut off the butyl tape.
Close the door glass completely.
1. Loosen the mounting bolt, remove the rear lower guide from the door and separate it from the door lock section.
2. Remove the inner handle cover.
3. Loosen the inner handle mounting screw.
4. Disconnect the door lock button rod from the bellcrank on the door lock side.
5. Disconnect the inner handle rod from the door lock side of the bellcrank.
6. Slide the inner handle back and remove it from the hole.
7. Remove the rod from the inner handle.
8. Disconnect the lock cylinder rod through the working hole.
9. Disconnect the door lock actuator connector.
10. Loosen the mounting screws and bolts and remove the door lock assembly through the working hole.
11. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the outer handle and the lock cylinder post.
Installation
When installing the door lock assembly, apply anti-corrosion lubricant (M-97 Super) onto the supporting surface of the mounting hole from the body side.
Install all rods by rotating the holders until they snap into place.
