Examination
Check the resistance between contacts 1-2, 2-3, 4-5, 5-6 of the valve.
- Resistance: approx. 22 kΣ (at 20°C)
Removal
1. Remove the EGR pipe.
2. Disconnect the two water hoses and install plugs to prevent coolant from leaking.
3. Remove the two mounting bolts that also secure the thermostat housing and wiring bracket.
4. Remove the EGR valve.
