Warning! There is a sensor mounted under the middle section that triggers the airbag. Observe safety precautions when performing work.
It is prohibited to check the serviceability of the airbag with any devices.
Before performing any work, disconnect the battery from the ground, turn off the ignition and wait at least 10 minutes.
Do not remove the inertial sensor under the center section.
If the security system indicator light comes on, contact your service center as soon as possible.
Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the plugs and unscrew the front section screws.
3. Move the seats forward and remove the rear section screws.

4. Remove the lid (photo on the left) and unscrew the lower screws of the middle section (photo on the right).
5. On vehicles with manual transmission, remove the gear shift boot.
6. On vehicles with automatic transmission, remove the selector cover.
7. Move the section back, lift it up, carefully lift it up and remove it from the handbrake lever.
8. The section is installed in reverse order.
