The oil level in the engine is checked before starting the engine or at least 5 minutes after the trip.
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Take out the dipstick.
3. Wipe the dipstick clean, reinsert and remove again.
4. The oil level must be between the H marks (top) and L (bottom).
5. Oil is added through the neck. Keep an eye on the level when adding oil. Excessive filling is not allowed, as failure of the crankshaft oil seals is possible.
