On vehicles with a closed cooling system, periodic topping up of fluid is not required. A rapid drop in the coolant level and frequent topping up indicate a leak and need to be repaired.
Check the condition of the radiator, hoses and connections for signs of leakage.
Top up with antifreeze solution only.
1. On a cold engine, the level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the reservoir. With a warm engine, the level is slightly above the MAX mark.
2. If it is necessary to add liquid, then wait for the engine to cool completely and unscrew the caps of the tank and radiator neck.
3. Add liquid to the edge of the neck, tightly wrap the cork. Add fluid up to the MAX mark on the reservoir and tighten the cap.
