Checking the coolant level (Nissan Sunny B13)

On vehicles with a closed cooling system, periodic topping up of the fluid is not required. A rapid drop in the coolant level and frequent topping up indicate a leak and the need to fix it.

Check the condition of the radiator, hoses and connections for signs of leaks.

Add only antifreeze solution.



1. When the engine is cold, the level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the tank. When the engine is warm, the level is slightly above the MAX mark.



2. If you need to add fluid, wait until the engine has cooled down completely and unscrew the caps of the tank and radiator neck.



3. Add liquid to the edge of the neck, screw the cap tightly. Add liquid to the MAX mark of the tank and screw the cap tightly.
