1. Locate and remove the fuel pump fuse from the fuse box.
2. Start the engine, wait until the engine stops.
3. Check for fuel in the system by restarting.
4. Disconnect the battery from ground.
5. It is recommended to replace the fuse only after completing the work. If you need to insert a fuse to perform the work, do not turn on the ignition.
