Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion (see subsection 13.23).
3. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the inspection cover.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector from the sensor and attach it to the body with adhesive tape.
5. Depressurize the fuel system, mark, disconnect and plug the fuel hoses at the top of the sensor.
6. Mark the position of the sensor (if there is an arrow, it should point forward in the direction of the vehicle).
7. Loosen the union nut by lightly tapping it with a screwdriver resting against the slots of the nut.
8. On some vehicles, to remove the sensor, you need to unscrew the bolts.
9. Carefully lift the sensor, detach the pump from the bracket inside the tank by pressing on the bracket, and remove the sensor assembly with the pump.
10. Remove the gasket.
11. Disconnect the hose at the bottom and separate the pump from the sensor.
12. Wash the filter and inspect it carefully. If it is clogged or damaged, replace it.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
2. Replace the sealing ring, securely fasten the pump, align the marks on the sensor and tank before assembly.
3. Make sure all hoses are securely and correctly connected.
