The electronic engine control unit is located in front of the center console on the protrusion for the propeller shaft.
Removal
1. Before removing the electronic control unit, disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. To access the electronic control unit, remove the mounting screws and release the mounting clips, then remove the small trim panels on either side of the propeller shaft boss at the front of the center console.
3. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the control unit from the mounting bracket.
4. Disconnect the connection connectors and remove the electronic control unit from the vehicle.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
6. When installing, check that the connection connector is securely connected.
