Removing
1. Remove the throttle body following the instructions in subsection 6.3.1.11.
2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system following the instructions in subsection 2.4.5.
3. Note or note the installation position of all vacuum and intake manifold cooling system hoses.
4. Disconnect them from the intake manifold and, if necessary, from the corresponding vacuum valves.
5. In order not to mix up the hoses during installation, mark each of the hoses when removing.
6. On models with a catalytic converter, unscrew the union nut and disconnect the EGR pipe connecting the intake and exhaust manifolds from the valve on the left side of the intake manifold.
7. Disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor on the right side of the manifold.
8. If necessary, unscrew the fixing bolts and disconnect the wire (masses (from the intake manifold.
9. Turn off fixing bolts and remove a fixing arm behind an inlet collector.
10. Check that all vacuum/vent hoses are disconnected from the intake manifold.
11. Unscrew and remove the fixing nuts and bolts in reverse order.
12. Remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head and remove it from the engine compartment, then remove the intake manifold gasket and discard it.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. When installing, pay attention to the following points.
3. Check that the mating surfaces of the intake manifold and cylinder head are clean and dry, and install a new gasket on the cylinder head bolts.
4. Install the intake manifold and tighten the mounting nuts and bolts to the correct torque in the order shown.
5. Check that all relevant hoses are connected correctly and securely fastened (where necessary) with fastening clamps.
6. Install the throttle body following the instructions in subsection 6.3.1.11.
7. When installation is complete, add coolant to the cooling system.
