Removal
1. Remove the rear pillar trim.
2. To avoid damage to painted surfaces, apply protective tape to the body panels around the perimeter of the side window.
Remove the side window glass using a string wire or electric cutter and an inflatable bag.
Attention:
- When cutting glass from a car, wear safety glasses and thick gloves to prevent glass fragments from getting into your eyes or injuring your hands.
- Be careful not to scratch the glass during removal.
- Do not stand the glass on its end. Small chips can turn into cracks.
Installation
Use a genuine Nissan urethane adhesive kit or equivalent and follow the instructions included with it.
The installation method and precautions are the same as for the windshield.
