Windscreen cleaner (Nissan Almera N15)

Checking the amplifier

Make connections as shown in the picture. If the test lamp lights up when you connect contacts 1 or 6 to the negative of the battery, the amplifier is working properly.

Installation and adjustment

1. Before installing the levers, turn the cleaner on and off.

2. Lift the brushes and lower them onto the glass. Just before tightening the nuts, position the brushes at distances C and D from the upper edge of the decorative grille.



3. Apply washer fluid to the glass. Turn the wiper on and off.

4. Make sure that the brushes stop at the same distances C and D.

• Distance C - 23-28 mm
• Distance D - 27-42 mm

Tighten the control arm nuts to a torque of 21-26 Nm.



Before installing the levers, clean their axles with a wire brush. This will reduce the likelihood of the levers loosening during operation.

Removal and installation the windshield wiper drive

1. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the gear motor (see picture).



2. Disconnect the gear motor from the rod.

3. Remove the wiper mechanism. Be careful not to tear the ball joint protective boot.

Before installation, lubricate the ball joint with a general-purpose grease.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
