WARNINGS:
- Do not smoke when working with the power supply system. There should be no open flames or sparks near the work area.
- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery before starting work.
WARNINGS:
- On models equipped with an electronic fuel injection system, relieve the pressure in the fuel system. (See Chapter "Engine management system".)
- Do not disconnect fuel lines unless absolutely necessary.
- Cap open ends of hoses and fuel lines to prevent dirt from entering the system.
- When assembling, replace all sealing rings and clamps with new ones.
- Avoid twisting or excessive bending of hoses and pipes.
- Do not overtighten the clamps to avoid damaging the fuel hoses.
- After installing the fuel system components, start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
