Fuel management in the CD20E engine (Nissan Almera N15)

The CD20K engine uses electronic fuel supply control. The accelerator pedal is connected to a position sensor, the signal from which is transmitted to the engine control unit. The extreme position of the pedal is determined by an additional limit switch.

WARNING: After connecting the accelerator pedal position sensor connector, the following must be done:

Start and warm up the engine. After warming up, let it idle for 10 minutes.

If the malfunction indicator comes on after starting the engine, refer to the chapter "Engine management system" for clarification.
