- If you have an oil pressure gauge, you can measure the oil pressure. When the oil pressure is low, the oil pressure indicator on the instrument panel will slowly go out. Since the engine must be warm when measuring oil pressure, care must be taken not to burn yourself with hot oil or hot engine parts. The values below apply to oil heated to 80°C and having a viscosity of SAE20W-20.
- Check the engine oil level, add oil to the maximum mark.
- Warm up the engine while driving, the oil temperature should not be below 80°C.
- Disconnect the wire from the oil pressure sensor (arrow) and unscrew the sensor.
- Screw a pressure gauge in its place.
- Start the engine and let it run at full speed. In this case, the values indicated in the table should be obtained, provided that the lubrication system is in good condition.
- If the obtained values differ significantly from those indicated in the table, check for oil leaks in the oil lines and in the oil pump.

| Engine rotation speed | Engine oil pressure |
| Idling | Not less than 0.98 bar |
| 2000 rpm | Not less than 2.9 bar |
| 6000 rpm | Not less than 3.9 bar |
- Turn off the engine and unscrew the pressure gauge.
- Apply sealant to 2-3 threads, insert and secure the oil pressure sensor. Tighten to 12.3 - 17.2 Nm.
- You can check the sensor readings in the set mode in the following order:
♦ Turn off the engine and remove the wire from the oil pressure sensor.
♦ Connect an ohmmeter between the oil pressure sensor contact and the engine block. The resistance should be 0 ohms.

♦ When the engine is idling, the instrument should show infinity.
♦ If one of the two measurements does not correspond to the required value, the oil pressure sensor must be replaced. If both measurements are correct, check the electrical wire going to the test light.
Connect the wire to the oil pressure sensor.
Checking the removed oil pressure sensor is as follows:
- Connect an ohmmeter between the contact and the oil pressure sensor housing. The resistance should be 0 ohms.

- Insert a thin needle into the oil hole of the switch and press lightly. The device should show infinity.

- If at least one of the two measurements is not met, the sensor must be replaced.
- Using an air pump, create a pressure of 0.5 bar in the oil hole of the sensor. The resistance should be 0 ohms. During this procedure, ensure that air is released.
