2. Remove the wheel.
3. If necessary, bring the pads together with the regulator (Ch. 1)
4. Remove the drum by rotating the drum and tap it with a soft-faced hammer in the outward direction. If the drum cannot be removed, then move it by evenly screwing the M8x1.25 bolts into special threaded holes (photo).

5. Carefully clean the drum of dust and dirt.
6. Remove the pad pressure springs by pressing the cap and turning it 90° (photo).

8. Spread the pads and remove the spacer (photo).
5.8 Removing the shoe spacer
9. Separate pads in addition and get them from grooves in a regulator and pistons. Secure the pistons from being pulled out of the cylinders (so as not to pump the hydraulic drive during assembly).
10. Disconnect the handbrake cable from the lever.
11. Do not press the brake pedal, otherwise the pistons will come out of the cylinder.
12. Check up a condition of covers of the cylinder and existence of a leak of a liquid. Repair or replace cylinders as needed.
13. Lubricate the brake shoe adjuster threads with brake fluid.
14. Before assembly, lightly lubricate the friction points of the pads with brake grease, avoiding contact with rubber parts.
15. Install the springs, enter the lower end of the rear pad into the groove of the regulator, then the lower end of the front pad, push the pads apart and enter into the grooves of the wheel cylinder pistons. Install the rest of the parts (photo).

17. Adjust the clearance between the shoes and drums by raising and lowering the hand brake lever several times. If necessary, bleed the brakes. Lower the car.
