Cars are equipped with dual-circuit hydraulic brakes, a vacuum booster and a rear brake pressure regulator (KlSLV - valve). The regulator is designed to unlock the rear wheels in hard braking conditions. It is triggered by the pressure difference in the front and rear brake circuits in response to a change in the load on the car.
The front brakes are disc, equipped with a two-piston or single-piston sliding caliper.
Rear brakes disc or drum. The gaps between the shoes and drums are automatically adjusted when the hand brake is applied. The design of the rear disc brakes is almost the same as the design of the front ones. The hand brake is equipped with a cable drive, it is activated from the lever.
