Removal
1. Remove the cylinder head.
2. Remove the pushers together with the housing and the shafts with the rocker arms.
3. Remove the end cover (photo).

4. Hold the camshaft and unscrew the central bolt (photo). Remove the bolt and washer.

5. Carefully remove the oil seal and camshaft (photo).

Installation
6. Lubricate the bearing journals and install the camshaft. Tighten the bolt and check the axial clearance (photo). The clearance should be 0.03-0.06 mm.
14.6 Checking the axial play of the camshaft
1. Indicator; 2. Backlash; 3. Bolt; 4. Camshaft; 5. Thrust washer
7. If the clearance exceeds the norm, replace the thrust washer (photo).
