The engine is equipped with a circulation, forced lubrication system and is supplied with oil by means of an oil pump inserted into the camshaft drive cover. The operating principle for the injection and carburetor engines is the same, i.e. in both versions the internal gear rotates in the external one, but the shape of the teeth of both gears is different. The pump gears are covered with a cover.
The drive element, a kind of spacer sleeve, mounted on the crankshaft drives the internal gear. The lubrication system also includes an adjustable pressure reducing valve, a replaceable oil filter and an oil pump suction filter. Oil distribution is carried out in the usual way.
