Removing
1. Remove the wheels from the car.
2. To turn away bolts of fastening of a bracket of a brake support.
Attention. Do not depress the brake pedal when the brake caliper is removed.
3. Remove the brake disc.
4. Remove the wheel speed sensor with wiring from the axle housing and lower suspension link.
5. To turn away bolts of fastening of a cable of a drive of a parking brake and to disconnect a cable of a parking brake from the suspension arm.
6. Versions with xenon headlights: remove the height sensor wiring from the lower link.
7. Remove the main muffler.
8. Remove the anti-roll bar.
9. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): Remove drive shafts.
10. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): Remove propshaft.
11. Versions with all-wheel drive (4WD): remove the rear final drive.
12. Remove shock absorbers.
13. Remove the coil springs.
14. Place a suitable jack under the rear suspension subframe.
15. To turn away nuts and bolts of fastening of a subframe of a back suspension bracket.
16. Slowly lower the jack, then remove the rear suspension subframe, lower and upper suspension links in one assembly from the vehicle.
Attention. When removing the subframe, secure it properly on a suitable jack.
17. Unscrew the fastening bolts and nuts, and then remove the lower and upper suspension links.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Perform the final tightening of the rear suspension elements on an unladen vehicle with wheels on the ground.
- Check the connection of the wheel sensor connectors.
