Attention.
- Do not allow engine oil to come into contact with engine mounting insulators. Be careful not to damage the motor mounting insulators.
- Make sure that the mounting insulators are properly seated, then tighten the nuts and mounting bolts.
Preparatory operations
1. Install the rear mounting bracket to the motor:
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #1 (see picture).
Tighten bolts #2 and #3 sequentially to the specified tightening torque.
Tighten bolt #1 to the specified torque.
2. Install the left engine mounting bracket to the transmission:
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #1 (see picture).
A. Modifications with a manual transmission.
B. Modifications with automatic transmission. The arrow indicates the side of the front of the engine.
Tighten bolts #2 and #3 sequentially to the specified tightening torque.
Tighten bolt #1 to the specified torque.
3. Install the left engine mounting insulator to the body:
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #7 (see picture).

Tighten all mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to the specified tightening torque.
4. Temporarily install the right mounting insulator and upper tie rod to the engine.
Installation
1. Tighten the rear tie rod mounting bolt to the specified torque.
2. Install the left engine mounting insulator on the transmission side:
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #1 (see picture).
The arrow points towards the front of the engine.
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #2 (see picture).
Tighten bolt #1 to the specified torque.
Tighten bolt #2 to the specified torque.
3. Install the right mounting insulator on the motor side:
make money (but do not fully tighten) bolt #3 (see picture).

Tighten all mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to the specified tightening torque.
4. Tighten the bolts securing the right engine mounting insulator to the body to the specified tightening torque.
5. Tighten the upper tie rod mounting bolts to the specified torque.
