Removal
1. Remove the front exhaust pipe. (www.monolith.in.ua)
2. Remove the exhaust manifold.
3. Disconnect the rear propeller shaft.
4. Remove the right drive shaft and support bearing bracket.
5. Loosen the mounting bolts (indicated in the figure by black arrows) and remove the transfer case assembly.
Caution: Do not unscrew the adapter housing bolts indicated by white arrows in the figure.

6. Remove the transfer case assembly from the vehicle.
Attention.
- Be careful not to damage the ring gear shaft.
- Be careful not to damage the breather hose.
7. If provided by the design, remove the outer O-ring from the transfer case assembly.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note. If required by the design, apply the multi-function lubricant in a thin, uniform layer to the outer O-ring and install it on the transfer case assembly.
Caution: Do not reuse the outer O-ring.
Note: When installing the transfer case on the gearbox, it is necessary to observe the direction of installation of the bolts (see picture below).

After installation, check the oil level in the transfer case and ensure there are no leaks.
